I'm on my way to the Basque region on Monday and being the morbid girl I am, I would love to visit some of the cemeteries there. Do you know where the cemeteries are in or around Bilbao? thanks! (maybe I'll even find my great great grandparents!)

Good luck finding your Great, Great Grandparents... I went with my Father to the Graveyard where my Great Grandparents were buried (near Bilbao) back in 1991 and they had already "Recycled" the land so-to-speak. The Headstones were no longer anywhere to be found. I have photos (posted on this site) that they were in-fact there at one time. I dont think it is morbid to at least try to find deceased relatives. After all, anything tangible (such as the headstone) from a Great Great Grandparent at this point would be something to cherish.
